Shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd surged 3% to touch a dayβs high of Rs 1,062.80 on 9th September. This surge happened after the company informed exchanges that it had received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 1,252 crore from Waaree Forever Energies for a solar power project.
Waaree Forever Energies, which awarded the project, is a subsidiary of the holding company.
The project covers the turnkey EPC execution of an 870 MWac / 1,218 MWp grid-connected solar power plant. It will include a 33kV/400kV substation, transmission line, and two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
The plant, with a total capacity of 870 MWac / 1,218 MWp, is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27. This completion is, however, subject to approvals.
At 3:30 PM, the shares of Waaree Renewable ended 3.03% higher at Rs 1,043.50 on NSE.
