Shares of Welspun Corp Ltd were trading 2% higher on 7 January after the company announced securing a new export order to deliver big-diameter coated line pipes in the Americas.

The company reported Rs 3,100 crore in fresh orders booked in India since its last release in September 2025. The company reported a consolidated worldwide order book of Rs 23,460 crore, indicating good business visibility and consistency across India and the US assets.

Welspun Corp noted that the order book will be executed till the fiscal year 2028.

Welspun Corp announced last month that it had completed the acquisition of 2.72 crore equity shares, or 4.11%, in its subsidiary Welspun Speciality Solutions Ltd. from the promoter group, which included MGN Agro Properties Pvt. Ltd. and Welspun Group Master Trust, at market price.

Welspun Corp ranks among the world’s largest manufacturers of large-diameter pipes, with operations spanning six continents and over 50 countries. The company provides customised solutions for both onshore and offshore projects and also produces ductile iron (DI) pipes, TMT rebars, BIS-certified steel billets, as well as stainless steel pipes, tubes, and bars.

At 1:25 pm, the shares of Welspun Corp were trading 0.34% higher at Rs 791.10 on NSE.
