Wingreens Farms Raises Rs 124 Crore From Investcorp

Wingreens Farms has raised Rs124 Crore in a Series C funding round led by Investcorp. Omidyar Network India also participated in the funding round. Founded in 2011 by Anju Srivastava and Arun Srivastava, the company sells packaged food products, including healthy snacks, sauces and spreads, spice mixes, breakfast cereals, non-dairy milk, protein shakes and a lot of organic products.

“We are thrilled to welcome Investcorp and Omidyar Network India to the Wingreens family. Their experience and resources will allow us to onboard many food and beverage brands on our platform with an online and offline presence, ” said Anju Srivastava, founder and managing director of the startup.

“Wingreens has a large market that has very potential and room for growth. Over the years, it has shown a strong market standing and financial metrics. We are looking forward to working with the firm and empowering them to grow further,” Gaurav Sharma, Partner and Head of India Private Equity at Investcorp, said.
