On Monday, the Woodside Energy Group of Australia invested $ 9.9 million in the greenhouse gases recycling firm. The technology of an Indian company has potentially been used to recycle methane. The company said String Bio of India could also be deployed at third-party sites.

Till 2030, the investment is a part of the goal to spend $5 billion on new energy and low-carbon services after completing its $28 billion with the cash flow of Woodside, which merged with BHP Group of petroleum arm in June 2022.
