Xiaomi and Qualcomm have extended their partnership, marking 15 years of collaboration focused on innovation across tech segments.

Under the new agreement, Xiaomi will continue using Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8-series chips in its premium smartphones for multiple future product generations.

Xiaomi will be among the first to adopt the next-generation Snapdragon 8-series platform later this year. The partnership expands beyond smartphones to include automotive, smart home, wearables, and AR/VR devices.

Xiaomi’s electric car, the SU7, uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit and Auto 5G tech for smart connectivity and AI-powered features.

To power its devices, Xiaomi uses Qualcomm’s Wi-Fi 7, Snapdragon Sound, and wearable platforms in smart homes and wearables.

Both companies aim to deepen collaboration in AI and edge computing, continuing to drive global innovation.
