CM Yogi Adityanath took oath as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. After him and Akhilesh Yadav, who was named the Leader of the Opposition, took oath as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

While Yogi Adityanath won the recent state polls from the Gorakhpur Urban seat and became the Chief Minister of UP for the second time.
