Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Thrusday said that the Covid-19 vaccine is just a month away and the deadly virus had already contained the pandemic in the state.
“We are about a month away from the Covid-19 vaccine and the state has already contained the pandemic. Developed countries like the US registered a Covid-19 death rate of about eight per cent, but Uttar Pradesh only saw 1.04 per cent of Covid-19 deaths,” said CM Yogi Adityanath.
He was appointed as a Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the “Healthy Eastern Uttar Pradesh” dive at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Gorakhpur, speaking to that he said the Covid-19 management had received approval from World Health Organisation (WHO) and a research should be done on it. He added that teamwork always pays off and medical institutes like AIIMS should realize their role and take part in it. He said, “More and more research should be done on the field, which is generally better than what is done in labs”.
