Shares of Zen Technologies Ltd were trading in the green and 1% higher on 25 November after the company announced securing a Rs 108 crore order from the Ministry of Defence.

The deal covers the supply of simulators that have to be completed within a year.

Earlier this month, it received two orders for Rs 289 crore from the ministry to upgrade its anti-drone capabilities. The improvements are expected to be completed within a year.

Zen Tech stated that the modifications directly address operational feedback from Operation Sindoor and other frontline missions, where increasing drone threats highlighted the critical need for systems that can be rapidly updated at both the hardware and software levels.

Zen Tech reported a dismal second-quarter financial performance last month, with the reduction mostly related to procurement delays caused by other military priorities under Operation Sindoor. However, management stated that long-term revenue visibility remains good.

The company’s revenue fell 28%, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) dropped 19.5%. Lower manufacturing costs helped boost its profitability. The adjusted profit after tax declined by 4% to Rs 61 crore. Despite the negative headline results, the company outperformed expectations in terms of revenue, EBITDA, and profit after tax.

At 3:30 pm, the shares of Zen Technologies closed 0.99% higher at Rs 1,396.50 on NSE.
