Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from L&T Ltd for an order worth Rs 126.55 crore for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad (MAHSR) bullet train project,” the startup said in a statement. According to the letter of intent, the MAHSR bullet train project is executed by the National High-speed Railway Co., Ltd.

“Zetwerk is proud to partner with the Bullet Train project and will strive to deliver on its commitments on time fully. India is on the cusp of a major manufacturing revolution. We are proud to be able to enhance these capabilities and support the government’s vision for development,” Zetwerk Co-founder Vishal Chaudhary said in a statement.

Larsen & Toubro – The IHI Infrastructure Systems Alliance will manufacture and transport 28 steel truss bridges (approximately 70,000 tonnes) in the 508km MAHSR bullet train project, which will link Mumbai and Ahmedabad via 12 stations in Germany; the cost is 1.1 billion rupees.

The bullet train will travel 508 kilometres in two hours and seven minutes, with a maximum operating speed of 320 kilometres per hour, the statement said. The MAHSR corridor is the first of the 12 planned HSR corridors in India to be implemented.
