Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the metro rail project in J&K is to approve by next week. The minister said the administration would give the need for LPG gas pipelines in the territory a top priority. He said PM Modi‘s development model maintains the benefits of each sponsored scheme that reach directly to the beneficiaries. The minister said that the country had got almost all the biological targets under ODF by building individual household toilets, public toilets, community toilets.

He also supported beneficiaries under government schemes like PMAY, MUMKIN, Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM), Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), PM Ujjwala and PM Svanidhi. He e-inaugurated 800 LPM oxygen plant at a government hospital, a solid waste management system in 78 ULBs, and 164 KLD septage treatment plant at Bhagwati Nagar.
