New Zealand to Allow Tourists From April 30

New Zealand announced that fully vaccinated foreign passengers could come to the country from April 30, lifting the restrictions that have been in place since the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March of 2020.

Fully vaccinated tourists can travel to New Zealand without needing to take a quarantine from January 16, the Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins told in a news conference. Travellers will no longer need to stay in quarantine. Still, other safety measures such as self-isolation, a negative pre-departure test, proof of being fully vaccinated, and a Covid-19 test is required on arrival. The passengers will have to self-isolate for seven days on reaching the country.
