The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading lower by 2 points at 25,587, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Monday.
Earlier on Friday, 7 November, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slipped by 95 points or 0.11%, and settled at 83,216, while the Nifty50 traded 0.07% lower or 17 points, closing at 25,492.

Maruti Suzuki: The NCLT approved the amalgamation of Suzuki Motor Gujarat with Maruti Suzuki India. The Delhi Principal Bench cleared the joint petition filed by both companies and set 1 April 2025 as the appointed date for the merger.
Hindustan Aeronautics: HAL signed an agreement with General Electric (GE), USA, to procure 113 F404-GE-IN20 engines along with a support package for the 97 LCA Mk1A programme. GE will deliver the engines between 2027 and 2032. HAL had signed the contract for 97 LCA Mk1A aircraft in September 2025.
Havells India: Havells India signed a settlement agreement with the HPL Group and its promoters, paying Rs 129.60 crore to resolve all disputes. Under the settlement, the HPL Group recognised Havells Indiaβs exclusive rights to the HAVELLS trademark since 1971, gave up all claims to the mark, and agreed not to use or challenge it in any manner. The HPL Group will also change the corporate names of its entities, Havellβs Private Limited and Havells Electronics Private Limited, to names that do not include βHAVELLSβ.
Ashoka Buildcon: Ashoka Buildcon received a Letter of Acceptance from the North Western Railway, Jaipur, for a project worth βΉ539.35 crore. The company will upgrade the existing electric traction system in the Ajmer Division of the North Western Railway.
Lupin: The US FDA completed an on-site clinical inspection at Lupinβs Bioresearch Centre in Pune between November 3 and 6, 2025. The inspection ended with zero Form 483 observations, indicating full compliance.
Biocon: The US FDA conducted a GMP surveillance inspection at Bioconβs API facility (Site 6) in Visakhapatnam from November 3β7, 2025. The regulator issued two observations at the close of the inspection.
