Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gave over Rs 1 crore to the family of IAF personnel Rajesh Kumar who died in 2019 after the crash of IAF aircraft in a training sortie.

“Loss of life can not be paid with anything, but I hope that the Samman Rashi will help and strengthen the family. The Delhi government has enrolled one sister into Civil Defence, and the others will also be given a job opportunity. We will do whatever we can to help and stand by the family,” Kejriwal told Kumar’s family.

Kumar’s was in a Training Sortie in Arunachal Pradesh, where it crashed in the high area valley. Kumar is survived by his wife, a newborn son and a family of six. His father works as a Security Guard, his mother is a housewife, and his brothers work as wagers.
