The statement came after Taiwan said that military tension with China was at its worst in over 40 years, amid growing concerns that China might take back military force, which the island claims as its own.

In a speech regarding the 50th anniversary of China’s return to the United Nations, Jingping said that it will always be the “supporter of the world peace” and a “protector of international order,” the media reports said. “China opposes all forms of leadership and power politics, unilateralism and protectionism,” Jinping said. He requested all countries to promote peace, development, justice, democracy, freedom, and the shared values of all humanity.
