Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to visit Europe for the first time on the continent since the war starts between Russia-Ukraine. On 2nd May 022, PM Modi first visited Germany, then Denmark on 3 and 4 May, and returned from France.
Modi said in the statement, “The long-standing commercial ties between India and Germany form one of the pillars of our Strategic Partnership, and Chancellor (Olaf) Scholz and I will also jointly address a business roundtable to energize our industry-to-industry cooperation, which will help strengthen the post-Covid economic recovery.”

In Denmark, PM Modi will participate in Second Indian Nordic Summit.
Modi will stop over in Paris to meet President Emmanuel Macron, who has recently been re-elected. “My visit just ten days after the result will allow me to convey my congratulations in person and reaffirm the close friendship between the two countries. This will also allow us to set the tone for the next phase of the India-France Strategic Partnership,” he said in a statement.
