The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading lower by 152 points at 24,977, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Monday.
Earlier on Friday, 20 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex surged by 1,046 points or 1.29% and settled at 82,408, while the Nifty50 traded 1.29% higher or 319 points, closing at 25,112.

Hindustan Aeronautics:Β HAL has won the contract to manufacture the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) after placing the highest bid in a Rs 511 crore tender, according to a statement by the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) on Friday.
Zen Technologies: Zen Technologies has acquired a majority stake in TISA Aerospace, a domestic defence tech firm known for its indigenous loitering munitions and UAVs. The company executed the acquisition through a mix of share purchases from TISAβs existing shareholders and the acquisition of CCDs issued by TISA.
Vodafone Idea: The company has a newly announced partnership with AST SpaceMobile to offer satellite-based direct-to-mobile (D2M) connectivity, which may face significant regulatory and policy challenges, potentially delaying the serviceβs rollout.Β
Bharat Electronics: Bharat Electronics has received fresh orders amounting to Rs 585 crore since 5 June. The new orders include fire control and sighting systems for missile platforms, communication equipment, jammers, spare parts, and service contracts.
Bajel Projects: Bajel Projects bagged an EPC contract worth over Rs 400 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for executing transmission line and substation bay extension work in Madhya Pradesh. Power Grid awarded the contract on behalf of its SPV, MEL Power Transmission.
NLC India: NLC India Renewables, a subsidiary of NLC India, secured a Letter of Award from Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation (TNGECL) to develop three standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The projects will offer a combined capacity of 250 MW/500 MWh and allow two full cycles of charging and discharging per day.Β
Waaree Renewable: Waaree Renewable Technologies received an additional EPC order worth Rs 246.92 crore for a ground-mount solar PV project with a capacity of 2012.47 MWp. With this extension, the total project order value now stands at Rs 1,480.40 crore.
Granules India: The USFDA completed its inspection of Granules Indiaβs API Unit-I in Sangareddy, Hyderabad, between 16 and 20 June. The regulator issued a single observation via Form 483, and the company intends to respond within the prescribed timeline.
