The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading lower by 35 points at 24,675, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, 28 July, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 570 points or 0.70%, and settled at 80,890, while the Nifty50 traded 0.63% lower or 150 points, closing at 24,680.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 29 July.

Quarterly Results Today: Amber Enterprises India, Bank of India, Dilip Buildcon, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC, Asian Paints, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation, GMR Airports, Happiest Minds Technologies, Star Health and Allied Insurance Company, Triveni Engineering & Industries, Varun Beverages, Welspun Corp, International Gemmological Institute India, Jubilant Pharmova, and Piramal Enterprises are some of the prominent companies set to announce their quarterly earnings for April-June. 

PNC Infratech: PNC Infratech has emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 2,956.66 crore contract floated by South Eastern Coalfields. The company will handle mining-related activities at the Gevra OCP expansion project in Chhattisgarh, including the hiring of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) for overburden removal, coal extraction using surface miners, and the subsequent loading and transportation of coal to designated destinations.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation: ONGC, in collaboration with BP Exploration (Alpha) and Reliance Industries, has entered into a Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) to conduct offshore exploration in a block located in the Saurashtra Basin.

RPSG Ventures: RPSG Ventures’ subsidiary, RPSG Sports Ventures (RPSVPL), has signed a Share Purchase Agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to acquire a 70% equity stake in Manchester Originals for GBP 81.21 million, payable over 24 months. Following this acquisition, Manchester Originals has become a subsidiary of RPSVPL and a step-down subsidiary of RPSG Ventures.

KEC International: The company delivered strong results for the April–June quarter of FY25, recording a 42.3% YoY rise in net profit to Rs 125 crore, up from Rs 87.6 crore in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated revenue climbed 11.3% YoY to Rs 5,023 crore, supported by steady growth across business segments.

Bharat Electronics: Bharat Electronics, a Navratna Defence PSU, reported a 22.47% YoY jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 969.05 crore in Q1FY26, up from Rs 791.28 crore in Q1FY25. Consolidated revenue from operations grew to Rs 4,439.74 crore, a 4.62% increase over the previous year’s Rs 4,243.57 crore. The company’s total income reached Rs 4,603 crore.

Adani Green Energy: Adani Green Energy posted a 31% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 824 crore for Q1FY26, compared to Rs 629 crore in the same quarter last year. The robust growth was fueled by higher revenue from power supply, increased renewable energy capacity, and stronger energy sales.
