The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 7 points at 25,271, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, 22 September, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 320 points or 0.56%, and settled at 82,159, while the Nifty50 traded 0.49% higher or 125 points, closing at 25,202.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 23 September.

Rail Vikas Nigam: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) emerged as the lowest bidder for a Southern Railway project worth Rs 145.35 crore. The scope includes traction substations, power quality equipment, SCADA integration, and automatic fault locator systems on the Jolarpettai–Salem section. The project, part of the Mission 3000MT loading plan, carries a timeline of 540 days.

Birla Corp: RCCPL, a subsidiary of Birla Corporation, became the preferred bidder for the Guda-Rampur limestone and manganese block in Telangana. Covering 3.34 sq km in Adilabad district, the block will generate over 57.1% of mining revenue for the state government.

KEC International: KEC International, part of the RPG Group, secured fresh contracts worth Rs 3,243 crore, led by its transmission and distribution (T&D) segment. The orders include 400 kV transmission lines in the UAE and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. This marks the company’s largest-ever EPC order.

Brigade Enterprises: Brigade Enterprises signed a joint development agreement for a 7.5-acre residential project in Banashankari, Bengaluru. With an estimated gross development value of Rs 1,200 crore, the project aims to deliver premium residential spaces.

Alkem Laboratories: The company has announced that it has received a GST appellate authority order confirming a tax demand of Rs 35.11 crore for July 2017–March 2022. The order also imposed a Rs 3.5 crore penalty along with interest.

Suraj Estate: Suraj Estate Developers launched Suraj Park View 1, a residential tower in Dadar (West), Mumbai. The value-luxury project has a GDV of Rs 250 crore, with a total saleable carpet area of around 0.53 lakh sq ft, developed under the redevelopment model.

NTPC Green Energy: NTPC Green Energy commissioned 9.9 MW of wind capacity in Bhuj, Gujarat, as part of the 92.4 MW project under Ayana Renewable Power Four, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power. With this addition, NGEL Group’s total installed capacity has risen to 7,382.475 MW.

JBM Auto: JBM Electric Vehicles, a subsidiary of JBM Auto, entered a strategic partnership with Al Habtoor Motors, UAE. Under the deal, Al Habtoor will exclusively import and distribute JBM’s electric buses in the UAE.
