The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading lower by 172 points at 22,344, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday.
On Monday, 10 March, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slipped by 217 points or 0.29%, and settled at 74,115 while the Nifty50 traded 0.41% lower by 92 points, settling at 22,460.

NTPC and NTPC Green Energy: The company, along with its subsidiary, has announced signing multiple agreements worth Rs 96,000 crore with the Chhattisgarh government.
MSTC: The company has announced securing a work order for Coal India to engage as an E-auction service provider for conducting e-auction of coal and coal products for them for a period of two years.

Vodafone Idea: The company has failed to provide a bank guarantee worth Rs 6,091 crore towards its shortfall in its 2015 spectrum auction dues. The Department of Telecom had instructed the company to provide a bank guarantee of Rs 6,091 crore or pay Rs 5,493 crore in Cash by 10 March.
Sun Pharma: The company has announced signing a definitive agreement to acquire Checkpoint Therapeutics for an upfront cash payment of Rs 3,099.51 crore ($355 million).
