US President Joe Biden has announced that Covid-19 booster shots will be available from September 20. The booster shots will be free and will be given to people eight months after they had got their second dose of the vaccine, Biden said.

The Americans will be getting extra protection against Covid-19 while the rest of the world is still waiting for their first vaccine dose. βThere are some world leaders who say America should not have a third vaccine shot till other countries get their first dose, but I disagree. We can take care of America and help the world at the same time,” Biden said at the White House.
