The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading higher by 90 points at 24,730, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, 13 May, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 1,281.68 points or 1.5%, and settled at 81,148.22, while the Nifty50 traded 1.39% lower by 346.35 points, settling at 24,578.35.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 14 May.

Quarterly Results Today: Hindustan Aeronautics, Eicher Motors, Tata Power Company, Torrent Power, Hitachi Energy India, Berger Paints India, Shree Cements, Lupin, Muthoot Finance, Jubilant Foodworks, Apollo Tyres, Piramal Pharma, JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Aditya Birla Real Estate, Brigade Enterprises, and Apar Industries are some of the prominent companies set to announce their quarterly earnings for January-March. 

Adani Green Energy: Adani Renewable Energy Fifty-Six, a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has commissioned an additional 50 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat. With this addition, the company’s total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 14,340.9 MW.

GE Vernova T&D India: GE Vernova has announced a Rs 140 crore ($16 million) investment to strengthen its manufacturing and engineering operations in India, focusing on advanced grid technologies as part of its electrification strategy.

EPL: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Indorama Netherlands B.V.’s plan to acquire a 24.9% stake in EPL. Indorama Netherlands is an indirect subsidiary of Indorama Ventures Public Company.

Sterling Tools: Sterling Gtake Electric Mobility (SGEM), a subsidiary of the company, has entered the magnet-free traction motor segment for electric vehicles. The company signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), UK, and will manufacture these motors at its Faridabad facility.

Bharti Hexacom: In its quarterly earnings for January-March, the company reported a 110% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to Rs 468.4 crore for the quarter under review compared to Rs 222.6 crore reported in the same quarter last year.Β 

Garden Reach: For the quarter ended 31 March, the company’s net profit doubled to Rs 244.2 crore from the same quarter last year. The revenue of the company during the quarter grew by 62% YoY to Rs 1,642 crore.
