The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 38 points at 25,290, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Thursday.

Earlier on Wednesday, 25 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 700.40 points or 0.85%, and settled at 82,655.51 while the Nifty50 traded 0.80% higher or 200.40 points, closing at 25,244.75.

JSW Energy: JSW Energy’s subsidiary, Energizent Power, signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC for a 300 MW solar-wind hybrid project in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh at a tariff of Rs 3.49/kWh.

Texmaco Rail Systems: Texmaco Rail bagged a $62.24 million (Rs 535 crore) order from Cameroon-based CAMALCO SA to supply 560 open-top wagons and manage maintenance for 20 years. The order includes a provision to supply 1,040 additional wagons over five years.

ACME Solar Holdings: The company has announced winning NHPC’s tender to develop 275 MW / 550 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Andhra Pradesh, across Kuppam and Ghani. The project qualifies for viability gap funding of Rs 27 lakh per MWh or 30% of the total cost, whichever is lower.

Om Infra: Om Infra won a Rs 199.84 crore contract for hydro-mechanical works at NHPC’s 2,880 MW Dibang power project in Arunachal Pradesh.

Western Carriers India: Western Carriers secured a Rs 558 crore contract from Jindal Stainless for transporting slabs, coils, and sheet plates in DSO containers to destinations across India over three years.

SMS Pharmaceuticals: The USFDA completed an inspection of SMS Pharmaceuticals’ Central Laboratory in Hyderabad and issued a Form 483 with zero observations for its second successful inspection at the facility.

Tejas Networks: Tejas Networks, in collaboration with Rakuten Symphony, announced a strategic partnership to integrate 4G/5G network solutions globally by combining Rakuten’s software stack with Tejas’s radio portfolio.
