The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 100 points at 25,715, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Friday.

Earlier on Thursday, 26 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 1,000 points or 1.21% and settled at 83,755.87 while the Nifty50 traded 1.21% higher or 304 points, closing at 25,549.Β 

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 27 June.

Hitachi Energy: Power Grid Corporation of India placed an order with the company India to supply 30 single-phase transformers, each rated at 765 kV and 500 MVA. These transformers will aid in long-distance power transmission, aligning with India’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy and electrification infrastructure.

Power Mech: Power Mech Projects has secured a Rs 159 crore order from Bihar State Power Generation Company (BSPGCL) to develop 13.66 MW (AC) of solar projects under the PM-KUSUM Component C2 Scheme. The projects, located across Bihar, will solarize agricultural feeders under the RESCO model with a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in place.

HCL Technologies: HCL Technologies rolled out new services in collaboration with Salesforce, centred around the Salesforce Agentforce platform. The offerings aim to help businesses in the finance, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing sectors build AI-driven workflows.

Lemon Tree Hotels: The company has announced signing a license agreement to operate Lemon Tree Suites in Nashik, Maharashtra. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Carnation Hotels, will manage the property.

Embassy Developments: The company has acquired all equity shares of Squadron Developers (SDPL) for Rs 456.61 crore, based on closing adjustments to the previously agreed enterprise value of Rs 455 crore. This acquisition makes SDPL a wholly owned subsidiary and strengthens the Embassy’s growth strategy in Bengaluru through an expanded launch pipeline.

Premier Energies: Premier Energies has launched its new 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana. The company is now working towards scaling its cell production to 8.4 GW and module capacity to 11.1 GW by June 2026.

UltraTech Cement: UltraTech Cement has commissioned its second cement grinding mill in Madhya Pradesh with a 1.8 MTPA capacity, following the first mill’s commissioning in March 2025. This brings the company’s total domestic grey cement capacity to 186.86 MTPA and global cement capacity to 192.26 MTPA.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers: The Mahindra Group’s real estate and infrastructure arm has been selected as the preferred developer for a major redevelopment project in Mulund (West), Mumbai. Spanning a 3.08-acre land parcel, the project carries an estimated development value of Rs 1,250 crore.
