The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 210 points at 24,894, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Monday.

Earlier on Thursday, 14 August, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 58 points or 0.07%, and settled at 80,598, while the Nifty50 traded 0.05% higher or 12 points, closing at 24,631.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 18 August.

KEC International: The company has won fresh orders worth Rs 1,402 crore across multiple business verticals. In T&D, it bagged a 765 kV transmission line project from a leading private player in India and additional supply orders for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL): The company has announced securing a Rs 178.64 crore Letter of Acceptance from IRCON International for a project covering signalling and telecom works. The project includes supplying signalling, telecom, and EIMWB materials, along with installing, testing, and commissioning EI systems at 10 new stations.

Vedanta: Vedanta has received an administrative warning letter from SEBI for modifying its Scheme of Arrangement without prior approval. The regulator flagged Vedanta’s withdrawal of Part V of the Scheme, as per SEBI’s letter dated 13 August and delivered on 14 August.

Vodafone Idea: The company has narrowed its net loss to Rs 6,608 crore in the June quarter, compared with Rs 7,166 crore in Q4FY25, aided by higher revenues and lower finance costs. Revenue grew marginally by 0.1% sequentially to Rs 11,023 crore.

Shipping Corporation of India: The company announced securing a favourable ruling from CESTAT Mumbai in its long-standing dispute over service tax on demurrage income.

Alembic Pharma: Alembic Pharmaceuticals received final USFDA approval for its ANDA of Tretinoin Cream USP, 0.025%, used to treat acne vulgaris. As per IQVIA, the market size for Tretinoin cream stood at $94 million for the twelve months ending June 2025.

PVR Inox: PVR INOX launched an 8-screen multiplex at Mahindra Millennium Mall in Bengaluru and a 10-screen megaplex at Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai. With these additions, it expanded its network to 1,763 screens across 355 properties in 111 cities in India and Sri Lanka.

Torrent Power: The company’s green hydrogen plant in Gorakhpur was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. The plan has an annual capacity of 72 TPA. Torrent Gas will blend the hydrogen with natural gas in its city gas distribution network in Gorakhpur, keeping the concentration up to 2%.

Lemon Tree Hotels: Fleur Hotels, a subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, secured a Letter of Award from the Delhi Development Authority to develop and operate a 5-star hotel on a prime land parcel at Nehru Place, New Delhi.

PNC Infratech: The company announced securing a Letter of Award (LoA) for setting up a 300 megawatt (MW) Inter-State Transmission System-connected solar power project, which includes a 150 MW / 600 MWh energy storage system from NHPC.Β
