Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Mumbai for two days from 24 to meet key stakeholders. She will be meeting with officials of the Income Tax department in the Bandra Kurla Complex business area and then will discuss the indirect tax view by meeting officials from goods and services tax (GST) and customs departments, according to a tweet from her office.

FinMin is also meeting industry leaders in a gathering arranged by lobby grouping CII. On the second day, She will be reviewing the annual performance of public sector banks in BKC, according to the tweet. Then she will be attending an event organised by Indian Banks Association (IBA) to launch “Enhanced Access and Service Excellence” (EASE) 4.0 in the same business area, it said. On Monday, Sitharaman declared Rs 6 lakh crore National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) to open value in infrastructure assets in the sectors starting from power to road and railways.
