The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading lower by 85 points at 23,305 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, 15 April, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex surged by 1,634.91 points or 2.18% and settled at 76,792 while the Nifty50 traded 2.26% higher by 516 points, settling at 23,344.50.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 16 April.

Quarterly Results Today: Waaree Renewable Technologies, Reliance Industrial Infrastructure, GTPL Hathway, Swaraj Engines, Wipro, and Angel One are some of the prominent companies set to announce their quarterly earnings for January-March.

Aster DM Healthcare: The company has announced securing approval from the Competition Commission of India for its proposed merger with Quality Care India Ltd. Prior to the merger, the company will acquire a 5% stake in Quality Care India by issuing fresh shares.Β 

Swiggy: The company has announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Labour and Employment for enhancing gig and logistics employment opportunities on the National Career Services portal with an aim to create 12 lakh job opportunities over a period of 2-3 years.Β 

Oil India: The company has announced securing 9 blocks under OALP Round IX, which adds over 51,000 square km to its exploration portfolio. From the acquired 9 blocks, the company is the sole operator for 6 blocks and a consortium partner for 3 blocks.Β 

Gensol Engineering: Brother Anmol and Punnet Jaggi, promoters of the company, have been barred by the Securities and Exchange Board of India from holding any key positions in the company or any other entities, and they have also been barred from accessing the securities market.Β 

Lemon Tree Hotels: The company has announced signing a license agreement for a new hotel property in Mori Bera, Rajasthan, which will be operational in fiscal year 2027 and will be managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Carnation Hotels.Β 

IREDA: In its quarterly earnings for January-March, the company reported a 48.7% year-on-year growth increase in net profit to Rs 501.6 crore for the quarter under review compared to Rs 337 crore reported in the same quarter last year.Β 

Adani Total Gas: GAIL (India) has cut the company’s allocation of APM-priced domestic gas by 15%, effective 16 April. To compensate for the shortfall, the supply will be supplemented with costlier New Well Gas. However, the reduced allocation of lower-cost APM gas combined with the higher price of NWG is likely to weigh on the company’s profitability.Β 

Tata Consultancy Services: The company has been allotted 21.16 acres of land in Visakhapatnam by the Andhra Pradesh Government for a symbolic price of Rs 0.99.
