The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 66 points at 24,850 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Thursday.
On Wednesday, 28 May, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 239.31 points or 0.29% and settled at 81,312.32 while the Nifty50 traded 0.30% higher by 73.75 points, settling at 24,752.45.

Coal India: State-run Coal India has been named the “Preferred Bidder” for the Oranga-Revatipur Graphite and Vanadium Block in Chhattisgarh, auctioned under Tranche V.
